Safe on a Airplane

This week for leaning. We had to watch 2 air new Zealand video and tell people about what we learnt. I learnt that you have to put all electrical devices on airplane mode and and all big devices need to be put somewhere safe. If you need to get off the plane the floor light up and go to the nearest exit . No smoke or are allowed on the plane that includes electrical cigarettes   

Bullfighting

This week we have to write if we think bullfighting should be banned or not 


I think that bullfight should be banned I think it a  horrible thing to do I dont think Its kind because the bull dont chose to be killed they have done nothing wrong. People that do it can get really hurt and maybe even kill. This should be banned this is horrible activated to do.

This week for our topic we had to pick a country and tell  people why we would like to go. I pick England.  I would like to see the London bridge and I want to try all the different food.I would also like go on the London eye.  I Would like to go see the alpacas. That is what I would do if i was on holiday going to England.  A other task was we had to find 3 facts about the country. The population of England was 53 million.
The highest mountain in England is Scafell Pike, which stands at around 978 meters (3,209 ft) in height.
Most people think that the French invented Champagne, but the technique used by Dom Perignon already existed in England, thus making the English inventors of Sparkling wine.
 

Our Flag

This week we had to make a flag with only 1 meter rule, meter of tape and 1 pair of scissors and 12 meter of paper. The rule's were that it had to be free standing,it had to be finished in time and we had to make it raise . My team was called the rocket ship. The first one we made failed but  it could raise and we finished on time but we failed still. Today we made it again. We got everything until it fell over but then we got to make it perfect and it was taller then me. So the last one was are best flag.

 This week for math we play a really fun math game. We were leaning to use algorithm

Not just a house

Story Map

This week for topic. We made story map we had to make a map of are favorite place mine  is the basketball courts. Here is my map and story.

Using basic Python syntax

This week for Digital Technology we were learning how to use Python syntax. We used a app called trinket and we had to do different task. This was my favorite  one because we got change the color. We had to make changes to the smiley face. We changed  where the mouth goes.  I picked  aquamarine as my circle size and changed 

the mouth color to black. I also changed the size of the eye and left

Map Waahi

This week we  had to make a map of Andrew adventure . This is his first  adventure  Andrew make diary so we know where he goes .The Strait  line mean he has flew and the squiggle line means he has  driven.

My book Meet the mummy-sons

My book is called meet the mummy sons. I have just stared reading it. I have read one of  the Knife &Packer  books.  I really enjoyed  it. The first chapter I have read is about how they dont like bugs and and creep crawls and if they see a bug they run and make the house very messy. In there house they have heaps of passages and one leads to a room called the liquid laboratory.

How I felt about this task

I thought that I toughed up when I failed and keep trying after. I did well at using my add and multi to figure it out. It took me a couple of goes but I never gave up and kept trying. I showed other my ideas and listened to theirs.

Math

This week I have been doing A LOT on fractions! My favorite fraction task was adding fractions , subtraction from a whole number and subtraction from one number. Here is my work on adding fractions and here I my gold certificate for get 2 90 percents and the rest were 100 percent. See I'm so clever!

Today we were learning words in Maori. We had 3 to learn. We got to pick the word we wanted I pick the word Runga that means up or on. Then we had to make a goggle drawing of photo's that did what the work said . So here my work
